China's economy grew 5.3%

China's economy unexpectedly grew 5.3% in 2024 by Gross domestic product grew in the first quarter from a year ago, according to the National Bureau of Statistics on Tuesday. It also marked an acceleration from the 5.2% growth in the previous three months.
